Bio

Hello!

My name is Cara Newman. I grew up in Pottstown Pennsylvania, with my parents, brother, and sister. We lived in the country side, just an hour outside of Philadelphia. I was able to get a feel for both urban and country life. My family owned a business in the city, and we spent a decent amount of time there. I graduated from  Owen J. Roberts high school in 2012 and am now attending Champlain College as a secondary education major. I hope to someday teach history in a high school. I am a strong believer that  in order to be successful students have to be motivated, and one of the most important jobs of a teacher is therefore to motivate and encourage student creativity in the classroom.
